Jolin Tsai will release her new album "Great Artist" on September 14th. The promotional photos for the album have been revealed.
Jolin Tsai traveled to France for the photo shoot, booking the French art museum Musee des Arts Forrains. The space is rarely opened up for people to use in this manner, with Woody Allen's "Midnight in Paris" being the last time the venue was used.
On the day of shooting, the staff were all very careful not to damage the priceless art surrounding them. Stylist Chen Shao Yen designed the metallic-looking outfit after hearing the title track for the album.
Jolin Tsai's mother was present at the photo shoot. Before posing in front of the camera, Jolin was wearing a baggy t-shirt to cover up before exposing much of her torso. When it was time for the shoot to start, her mother held onto her clothes for her, looking upon her successful daughter with pride.
The new album's title track, "Great Artist", is about a girl whose boyfriend is unfaithful, but makes excuses and reasons for his actions. The song tells women that they shouldn't take this type of behavior. They should be strong and remember they deserve true love. The song will hit radios on August 15th.
Preorders for Jolin's new album begin on August 22nd. The album will be release the day before her birthday, September 14th.
