Back in March, Jay Chou and Kobe Bryant collaborated on a Sprite commercial along with a song. The two met again along yesterday at a charity basketball game in Shanghai along with other stars such as the members of Fahrenheit and basketball star Du Feng.
In the commercial the two are in, Kobe easily beats Jay in a match of basketball. During the exhibition match however, Jay redeemed himself, helping his team take a narrow victory against Kobe's team.
"The star power of this exhibition game is incredible. Jay should be the MVP tonight. He just missed one shot," Bryant said.
Jay invited Kobe to compete with each other again. Kobe accepted his offer. However, next time to make things fair between them he challenged Jay to a karaoke contest since they have already competed in something Kobe is good at.
"Since we did basketball one-on-one before, it is fair to do karaoke next time. But I have to remind you to be careful when I sing. You'd better cover your ears," Kobe joked.
