According to the Taiwan media, Selina is gradually recovering from the on-set accident last year.
The 28-year-old singer will also marry fiancé Richard Chang this coming Oct 31, fulfilling her wish of getting married before the age of 30.
Although her recovery progress had been satisfactory, Selina would need to go for an additional skin grafting surgery for aesthetic purposes.
Richard revealed that Selina requested for another skin grafting surgery, after they had decided on their wedding date, so she could look her best on her big day.
However, the doctor advised to wait until her scars had stabilized before proceeding with the surgery. This was because the surgery might affect her recovery.
Richard acknowledged that Selina's legs would not recover to how they were before the accident, despite a second skin grafting surgery next year.
The lawyer also said that the wedding would just be the banquet. The couple will do away with the traditional ceremonies because Selina is unable to stand for too long.
"The road to recovery is long, we cannot rush into it," Richard said.
In other related news, a well-known producer revealed that Selina will continue with her showbiz career after her marriage. She wants to return as a host, and talk show Here Comes Kangxi is her first choice for her comeback.
