We are looking for writers!!

I am looking for writers to help me post album news, MV releases and lyrics for CPOP and KPOP. It is hard for me doing this all alone which you may have noticed i haven't posted any KPOP related news recently. So i am wanting to bring CKPOP! back again to the way it was but doing this by myself is difficult.

If you are willing to help me please email me @ ckpop.news@gmail.com by writing a simple message saying you want to join with your name and i'll give further details (experience is not required but preferred). :)

Hebe's Solo Album Deemed Too Autotuned?

The nominations for the 22nd Golden Melody Awards were announced a few days ago, causing either joy or disappointment for the C-pop world.

Hebe, one-third of popular girl group S.H.E, was a strong candidate for many a category. However, she was only nominated for Best Pop Album of the Year and Best Music Video for her first solo effort, "To Hebe".

The award committee deemed Hebe's album having "utilizing too much autotune, altering both the music and vocals", disqualifying Hebe from being nominated for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.

Hebe is grateful for being nominated at all, but has this to say, "I'm not clear on what the judges' tastes are, but to be even nominated is an affirmation. I respect the judges' decision,".

She continues to add, "I welcome everyone to come listen to my live performances, it may be even better than the CD,".

Despite putting up a strong front, Hebe does finally exclaim, "Everyone, uses autotune!".

Fans are perplexed with the nominations, citing that if autotuning is the problem, then why is Hebe's album even in the category for Best Pop Album of the Year. Fans hope that the award committee gives some clarification on the matter.

Do you think Hebe's solo album was "too autotuned"?
